Our core competence is material know-how when engineering composite material applications.

 

This know-how dates back to mid -80 when our Chairman Karl-Otto Strömberg founded the company Flexprop AB (www.flexprop.se). Since its foundation in 1986, FlexProp has been recognized as an innovative manufacturer of advanced composite products. FlexProp has successfully introduced fiber composite materials in numerous applications, such as wind tunnel blades, ship propulsion, hydropower and in production equipment, such as fixtures and grippers. FlexProp has supplied industry mainly in Europe and USA with innovative and robust equipment and some of the more well known customers are, ABB, Alstom, US Navy, FMV, Fläkt Woods, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Cars.......

 

In this environment the first CompRack trashrack were developed, in close cooperation with some leading hydroelectric power producers. The objective was to develop a trashrack  that combines a robust design with the highest possible level of efficiency.

 

Since the first CompRack trashrack was delivered in 1995 we have continuously improved the product to be competitive and to add benefits for our customers.
